Dec 6, 2024 – We were there: Western Massachusetts Regional Economic Ecosystem Summit

Artist Dynamix took part in the Western Massachusetts Regional Economic Ecosystem Summit held at Venture Way Collaborative today. This was the sixth edition of the summit and we’ve attended all of them as we try to get a real sense of the economic opportunities, challenges, and networks in the region.

Today, the mayors of Easthampton, Nicole LaChapelle, and Northampton, Gina-Louise Sciarra, and the Town Administrator for South Hadley, Lisa Wong, were among the speakers.

Other speakers included Senator Jake Oliveira, Amherst Town Councillor-at-Large Ellisha Walker, and Vice-Chair of the Belchertown Select Board, Lesa Lessard Pearson.

The focus was on economic developments, challenges, and milestones.

Tiffany Allecia, Hope Ross Gibraldi, and their team have done a great job bringing together some of the top decision-makers in the region to discuss ways we can move Western MA forward as a region.

Artist Dynamix was represented by founder, Fungai Tichawangana, who also represented the ArtsHub of Western Massachusetts.

Nov 14, 2024 – How is Artist Dynamix related to the Hult Prize judging panel?

Up until last week, there was no real relationship between us and the $1M Hult Prize.

BUT! Big news: Our very own Fungai Tichawangana has been tapped to join the panel of judges for the Hult Prize, one of the most prestigious global competitions for social entrepreneurship.

The invitation came courtesy of the Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.

For those not in the know, the Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship is where entrepreneurial ideas go to grow. Through education, mentorship, and community engagement, they’ve helped countless students and innovators turn sparks of ideas into full-blown ventures. Their partnership with the Hult Prize is just another example of their commitment to big ideas.

Having Tichawangana on the Hult Prize panel is a huge win for our entire community. It’s proof that the creative, out-of-the-box thinking we champion at Artist Dynamix is making waves.

Plus, let’s be honest, it’s pretty cool to see our own team influencing the future of social entrepreneurship. Read the full press release here.

Nov 8, 2024 – One week after the launch of Inc413

It’s been a week since we launched Inc413 and it has all been a bit overwhelming.

From the technical challenges we faced just before and after launch to all the messages of support we have received, it’s been exciting and challenging and thrilling and unnerving and everything in between.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Thank you to everyone who has offered to help. Thank you. Once we calm down and collect ourselves, we will be in touch.

Nov 6, 2024 – You can now run website accessibility tests on the Artist Dynamix website

Great news! Today, we launched our website accessibility scanner. This easy-to-use tool enables businesses to test their websites and assess how well they meet accessibility guidelines.

Accessibility enables people with various cognitive disabilities to access your website. Read our introduction to website accessibility for more info.

Given the increasing number of lawsuits against businesses that don’t have website accessibility dialed in, this is a good starting point.

Try it out for yourself and get your results in minutes!

You’ll find the tool on our website accessibility page.

    Nov 1, 2024 – Inc413 is LIVE!

Just after 10 am today, Inc413 went live!

Over the last two years, the team here at Artist Dynamix has worked really hard to get all the information together for this site, while building the actual website, while talking to potential contributors, while creating a revenue model, while generating a buzz about it…

We are so thrilled that the site is up and are excited to share it with the business community of Western Massachusetts.

Do check it out and tell us what you think. Below are some of the social media posts we published as we prepared for the launch…
