Sept 3, 2025 – Amherst Now hits 1,000 notices & 1,000 monthly visitors

Back in May, we celebrated 500 community notices on Amherst Now, our community noticeboard project born out of our AdX Wonder Initiative. That was a major achievement for us, given the size of the Artist Dynamix team.

Fast forward just three months, and the board has already doubled, passing 1,000 notices in August.

August brought another first. We had more than 1,000 visitors in a single month. What’s that? A double thousand whammy!?

Every one of these visitors came through organic reach, people finding us on search engines, social media, or through the physical noticeboards around town. We haven’t spent a dime on advertising. Yet.

We’re legit thrilled to be able to provide a service like this to the Amherst Area community, and crazy loco that the idea that Amherst needed a simple, open place to share and discover local updates has borne fruit.

From lost pets and yard sales to concerts, lectures, and town events, people are starting to use the noticeboard every day to stay connected.

And we continue to add new features and updates in response to feedback, and what we’re seeing from the Amherst Now website analytics.

Thank you for making Amherst Now the spot for what’s happening here and now. We’re only at 1,000. Looking forward to serving more people and continuing to do our part to help create a more connected community.
